Although, the mouse pictured is the 9. the 5 is wired as is the 7

I have the 7 and these mice are pretty much amazing. For the $60 range, I'd choose this over the Razer. I mean, its fully customizable to fit your hand/grip not to mention the DPI up/down button and the precision aim button.

I can set it at 200dpi or 5600dpi(yes thats 200, not 2000). There were some bad reviews on the Phillips sensor on this mouse but I never experienced any of those issues. Perhaps there was a bad batch. I like that I can change dpi on the fly and I have the 5 dpi presets I programmed myself set to different LED colors. This way I always know what setting I am at. I can also take a quick glance at the OLED screen on the mouse and it will tell me there too. I get flamed alot for even suggesting this mouse. But in MY experience I have not had better. Yes its starting to show wear now where the rubberized coating is starting to wear through to the plastic. But I do love this mouse.

*Flame me if you want people. But as I stated above this is in MY experience. But remember we are here to help this guy with a mouse selection. I offered my choice. You don't have to like it, but be respectful enough not to flame it.
thanks man never really heard of it...the backend of it looks like a spider!

edit: To the post right above me....have you had any issues with the twin eye sensor that eagle has been mentioning?....I really dont want to have any problems in that area, its like a phobia of mine ever since this mouse i have now! lol

R.A.T. 7 User here, and I love it. Precise, customizable, durable, and comfortable.

I also have a Steelseries Ikari. I love it THE MOST. Most comfortable mouse you will ever hold.

I have G9x and it's perfect for me. All my Logitech mouses have been reliable and long-lasting. My choices would be G9x or G500. I believe they both have same sensor, but differ in shape.

So I've read through some threads here and found to my liking the deathadder and seen many positive reviews for the intellimouse as well.

I can stretch my budget to $50, but would really like to spend the least amount as possible to get a nice wired mouse. In other words, something that I am not going to want to upgrade. It will be used for gaming, I'm only playing diablo right now which isn't too mouse demanding, but still annoying with this crappy mouse.

As far as the mouse's form factor I've only had experience with standard formed mouse so I'm open for whatever is a good deal TBH.

So some guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Do I....

1. Wait for a deal on a deathadder/intellimouse whenever that will be and put through the suffering of a mouse that hardly works?

2. Is there a good deal going on for anything that I can grab up now that will suffice?

3. Wait for one to come up on the "for sale" section of this site?

Thanks for the help everybody!

They also have black edition

This. My mouse recently died a rather irratating death. So I replaced it with the DeathAdder Black edition and gotta say it is very :
It is a palm-grip kind of mouse where your whole hand is practically cupping the mouse. As opposed to claw-grip, which is well, like a claw grabbing at the mouse, with your palm barely (if at all) touching it. (Like the RAT5)

It is up to you really, but IMO, this is the best mouse I have used.

The sensor issue with the DeathAdder was (I think) G3 (generation 3). The Black Edition/new models are G3.5. I got the BE to make sure I didn't fall into the old sensor issues with by mistake getting an older version

It should be $45 at newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826153055

That is the G3.5 btw

Thank you....the only reason i guess i can say that i'm leading toward this is the fact that the valor isn't coming out til 5/15 which the mouse i currently have is really that horrible where its tough to wait any longer....

But i dont know....the 10% off the free mousepad...but it wont let me preorder yet....that sucks! Are you getting one eagle?

My death adder hasn't died yet. You can pre order the valor now. Say no to the extended warranty then add to cart. Then add the discount code

I also have a talent already.
