What are some ways to increase GPU performance with out overclocking? - Page 2

Tbf, its as easy to OC your gpu as it is to install the drivers for it these days lol, might aswell just do it, the performance increase can be decently noticable depending on the system.

How about lowering the resolution? That helps (tremendously).

And you can't flash drivers.

And no, even if you meant BIOS, you can't flash a GTX 260 to any other model. No GTX 275, GTX 285 or GTX 280. Niente. Nada.

How do you make your car accelerate without stepping on the gas pedal?

Not tryin' to troll or anything, just sayin'.

MSI Afterburner makes it pretty cut and dry to OC a card. The BIOS flash only works with certain cards, but at least you were giving it some honest thought.
