OC'ing with multi VS bus ?

Thread Starter
Just wondering which one is best performance wise? also because I OC'ed my system using the multi but can only reach 3.8Ghz\\stable in Prime95. I can easily go up to 4.2 even 4.3 stable in 3dmark vantage bench.

I'm wondering if I would get more stability if I OC'd using the Bus instead.

Thanks!

There's usually a sweet spot by combining both multi and bus for stability, but you wont really notice any performance difference if you go either way.

When you say sweet spot, do you mean I could potentialy get my CPU clock speed higher using a combination of both?

Well only slightly, like the difference of being slightly unstable at 1.4v to being perfectly stable.
