I keep hearing this from Android users, yet the first thing people do when they get an Android is Root it. Why? If it is so great, why do you need to do this?
If you Jailbreak an iPhone, you have pretty much the same control you have with an Android phone.

Expensive, did I already mention this?
One hit in the ground and it ain't working, can be said about most Apple products
Too strict customer support, you need to scream and convince them for ages to get a repair/replacement
I'm sure there's more. Apple is crap, enligthened people don't buy crap.
This is what the OP was talking about. Name calling for no reason.
Over priced? Last I checked, and iPhone 4 was around the same price as many Andorid phones (with several costing more, albeit some do have more features). Heck, I got my 3GS for $19.99 (a refurb under contact, but still).
Exactly what "lack of Functions" are you referring?
So Android phones never break if dropped (even once)? I beg to differ, but I have seen iPhones (yes, even the 4) dropped several times with no issues, and several Android models ruined with 1 drop.
Never had to scream at any CS rep for any reason for any product, ever.
I was debating between the 3gs, Iphone 4 and Samsung Captive, and the 3GS did what I need for a lot less $$.
I am not an Apple fan, and can't stand the virus you have to install
that you have to install iTunes to use the iPhone, but the iPhone was a revolutionary device, and is still what everything is compared to for a reason.
Now the cartoon above, that is sooo true. A few articles online talk about those lining up outside Apple store to get a white iPhone 4 when they have a perfectly good black iPhone 4 just makes no sense.Edited by blupupher - 4/29/11 at 3:37pm
