You can get with this, or you can get with that

Engine, Engine, Number Nine,

On the New York transit line,

If my train goes off the track,

Pick it up! Pick it up! Pick it up!

Back on the scene,

Crispy and clean,

You can try,

But then why,

Cause you can't intervene.

Ok......back on topic! I am trying to decide which mobo to go to. I am currently running what is in my sig and I want to upgrade to DDR3 and dual pci x16 so that I can run my GTS250 for physX (with a possible xfire 6850 in the future ).

I have been looking at these 2:
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO and
ASUS M4A88T-V EVO (This one is on sale at Frys for $84 after mir).

I know that the M4A88 has 16/4 on the pci. Is this going to cause a problem when I go xfire? The 790 goes 8/8 in xfire.

Also, there are a few other boards out there that I am unfamiliar with:
ASRock 870 EXTREME3
Foxconn A9DA-S AM3
It's so little!

I would go M4A79XTD Evo or Foxconn's.

x16/x4 won't hurt your CF performance that much...

This ASUS it's Open Box, but doesn't really change anything. x8/x8, SATA 6/usb3. Also 890GX

First thing I thought of:

The 79XTD isn't that much more than the 88T, so I'd go that route.
No idea how reliable the Foxconn is. Probably pretty solid, but ASUS has a great track record with RMAs if anything goes bad.

Went with the open box that Icypimphand suggested. Was going with the Asrock until I noticed the 4+1 power phase. While this is not an issue with my current cpu, I will def be upgrading that in the near future. Also, the Asus looks like it will be able to run AM3+.
