what about now? it's better?
Much better. If you have a C3 revision of the 955,you can get to 3.8Ghz with a 2600-2800Mhz NB,but you'll need more than stock cooling.
I wish my board was Am3+ ready lol. I just noticed the AM3+ heatsink bracket is a bit different than the AM2/AM2+/AM3 heatsink bracket.
Moar cores!

what you say? it's clocked @3ghz BTW
I have my phenom II 920 OC'd to 3.5ghz and it works fine with my 480 gtx. A good cooler would put your CPU at 3.8ghz no problem.

@OP Bulldozer comes out next month, you should seriously consider upgrading to that or a 2500k.

His CPU would have trouble getting over 3ghz, let alone reaching 3.8

Thread Starter
i know it will be out soon, but the upgrade was necessary, as i said i buyied all this pieces with a low budget, and i payied LESS then their price so i found that offer and i taken, but the budget problems it's the same XD

probably the only "bad" thing could be that after the bulldozer release the prices of X6 could lower near 130-140€ but i payied mine 100€ so the diffrence it's a lot anyway
