Intel Pentium M 740 to Pentium M 735... worth it?

Someone on Craigslist happens to be selling Pentium M 735 CPUs... this could be perfect for my laptop

Pentium M 740 is 1.73Ghz 533 bus clock 27W TDP.
Pentium M 735 is 1.7Ghz 400 bus clock 21W TDP.

The .03Ghz definitely won't make a difference, the TDP definitely will, but I have a feeling also that the slower bus clock will make a big difference, because the system uses DDR2 @ a slow 400Mhz... with the 735 the RAM speed would be in-sync with the FSB. decent performance boost... and more battery life. Processor is slightly older so I'm sure the mobo can handle it.

Worth it for $20-25? I have to juggle my cash between this and a new charger & new battery, or I could go all out. Not even sure if this'll become my permanent laptop, I had huge sights on a Brazos netbook just a few months ago.

I would say save your cash and just use it to go towards a new laptop later.

Well this laptop is fairly adequate for what I need actually, plays video decently and browses decently and the like. A brand new laptop in the same 12.1"/below category would probably be a significantly more expensive investment that may not be of much further use over this... especially with laptop deals coming up on Craigslist really often for laptops that may be a bit older, but really good for what you need (especially if you need more... I would rather have two used, older laptops with different uses & performance, for really cheap, than a single laptop that costs twice and only does some of those things effectively). I'm thinking I would rather save my money for that, but then again there is the interesting prospect of Llano coming along...
