Ordered 3 of them because of the glowing reviews I have heard from everyone and all I have to say is they are freaking LOUD. I have them hooked up to a fan controller and they are by far the loudest 120MM fans I have ever heard. Even turned down on low they produce an annoying loud humming sound. The air they push is weak in comparison to the Akasa Viper fan I just purchased for my heatsync and it is way quieter. Epic fail on the fans... Not sure why anyone would ever recommend them. Going in the trash.
Yeah I got 3 of them on a MCR320 and they are kinda loud. Also make a whining noise when hooked up to a fan controller and not at full blast. They move a good bit of air tho.
I got medium yates "D12SM-12" from jab-tech, they have been running great. However a couple did seize up. If you pull of the sticker off and remove the rubber seal, add a little sewing oil they will run smoothly. I hear no grinding and I oiled mine about 3 months ago. I think if anything they might be under oiled. Before you trash them its worth a shot.
