Other than being 2 inches shorter, feature-wise it's the same as all the other non-reference 5850's, but it only supports 2-gpu crossfire, not tri/quad-fire. According to the newegg reviews, they run really cool/quiet as well.

I rocked 2x5850's for about 6 months around this time last year. They are very powerful cards.

At this price, it's not much more than another 450 would cost, it's very similar performance to two 450's, and you can sell your existing 450 to recoup a bunch of the cost ... and you'll still have an upgrade path if you ever get a bigger monitor. And lastly, you never have to worry about SLI not being supported, nor about microstutter.

Way smarter than getting SLI 450's, IMHO.
this. btw OP states that he only plays GTA IV and i heard that it's a terrible console port. anything with more RAM will help.
