Any better casing than the SS FT02?

Thread Starter
Hi, i am currently thinking about upgrading my NZXT Tempest. Wanted to purchase a FT02 but seems that it will have conflict with Noctua D14 and Corsair Vengenance. Need some help here if it can fit or any better casing out there that is better then the FT02 and bigger and can fit D14 and Vengenance?

I don't believe there would be any problem with your heatsink and ram, as long as you can fit it in now.

If the HSF is less than 160mm then you're fine.
No need to buy super large HSFs for the FT02, it's an excellent cooling case.
D14 fits fine, it's 160mm, same as a Mega.

The problem of the D14 is that i have to raise the fans that is near the ram so that vengenance can fit in. But i need to know how much can i raise to fit in w/o touching the side panel. Anybody knows?

Well there isn't a better case than the FT02 out there, however there is one case that is near in performance,it is the HAF-X.

The problem that yo mention is not related to the case,is related to the cpu heatsink and ram exclusively. I suggest a sidegrade of the RAM Modules.

Since it's 160mm, not much, maybe another 3-5mm.
You are better of buying low heatsink ram i.e. Corsair XMS series or G.Skill Sniper.
P67 boards place the CPU socket very close to the ram slots.

If you really want the D14, you could always take the heat spreaders off of your RAM.
