You can't. You can only overclock the K series of chips. The rest, like your 2100, have their clocks locked.

Since your cpu is non K version, the multiplier is locked. You can set it to highest , but still its not an "overclock". You can increase the baseclock, which is 100mhz, by like 5-8mhz max. Sadly u have an H61 board.
All in all sadly, you cant overclock at all :S...

Missed the H61 board as well. OP - you failed to properly research the Sandy Bridge series.

OP for your budget you should of gone AMD.

Wait for bulldozer, or buy a 2500k and a p67 board.

Nothing you can do.

As mentioned already you cannot overclock your cpu. However you can still overclock your GPU using Afterburner. Install afterburner, then in the install directory there should be a file called 'MSIAfterburner.cfg', open that with notepad and near the bottom where it says "[ATIADLHAL]" change the settings to:

[ATIADLHAL]
UnofficialOverclockingEULA= I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it
UnofficialOverclockingMode= 1
AccessibilityCheckingPeriod= 1

P.S the above setting apply to version 2.2.0 Beta 1.

[Edit]: Forgot to mention that you should probably start Afterburner and actually overclock the card, the above steps were just to enable the overclocking feature on Afterburner :-P good luck.

Also if you want a major performance boost, I would strongly recommend investing in a SSD. You'll notice a significant improvement in speed, especially when loading programs and games.

Still, would like to see what your chip can do. Post some benchmarks of games n stuff if you get bored.
