Amd phenom ii 840 bottleneck FSB

I have a 840 which has a bus speed of upto 4000Mt/s but my mobo is only 2000Mt/s is there a bottleneck issue and how much performance gain will i see if i upgrade the mobo to 5400mts thanks

you sure that isn't 2000 MHz (aka 4000 MT/s) hypertransport on the board?

Im talking about the front side bus, i tgought is different from HT. And my board's website says its 2000mts not mhz

Your cpu-z should look something like the pic below.
Bus speed is the cpu reference clock and HT link(hypertransport not hyperthreading) is HT 1.0(1000mhz/2000mt's).
it will not bottleneck your setup.

yeah as i said previously...you should be running 2000 MHz or 4000 MT/s

That's not what I said.
It's HT 1.0 and runs at 1000mhz.

the pic shows a x3 720 on a M2N32-sli with HT 1.0 running at 1000mhz.
