if you get the 9800gt and dl rivia tuner and look on the web you can use it as a quadro. except it is faster as it has more sp. you change one setting and the you can even use the quadro drivers.

EDIT; it works on more cards but i forgot the specific ones.

You can find a used 8800/9800GT for that price but if you prefer new & not wanting to deal with modding the card, the GT430 is okay to use for 2D & 3D(wire frame) drawing.
