I have a p67 gigabyte motherboard and have had no problems with it. So I am unsure of the tech support, I have never had to use it. This board overclocked easy and supported g skill 1833 ram without upping voltage. My vote is gigabyte.

Havn't read the whole thing, but that is more than likely RAM issues or old bios rev. Since the 1305, have there been any reported freezing issue's other than ram related?

right, I guess these mobo's are picky when comes to ram, there was a member on there with a gigabyte mobo that had the same problem.

OP just make sure which ever mobo you get, clear the cmos and get some 1.5v rated RAM.

either would be a good board imo
just features and and looks that make the difference after all they are all intel reference boards
