Uninstalled SSD and now the computer won't post.

Hey guys,

So I sold my Crucial RealSSD300 and removed it from the computer (making a proper partition first on one of my other drives to reinstall Windows 7) but upon powering on the computer I don't get any video on the screen. Everything kicks on properly, lights, fans spinning, etc.

Everything is plugged in tight, the only thing that's changed is the SSD is no longer there.

What might I do at this point? Should I remove the CMOS battery and go from there?

Thanks for any input!

Reset the CMOS but it didn't make a difference, still no signal to the monitor.

Do you have anything else plugged to the video card? Like a TV or something? Check cables. Maybe you unplugged something while opening teh case to remove SSD.

Did you short the Cmos when you cleared it or mess up the grounding when uninstalling the SSD somehow?

The only thing plugged into the video card is the monitor itself, I've tried both ports (Haven't tried the HDMI though).

I removed the CMOS battery for a few minutes prior to attempting a reboot. I don't see how from looking at it but I might have messed up the grounding during the removal. Later tonight I'm going to see if it'll produce a signal while caseless.

Plug the cable into the HDMI port and see what happens.

Sadly I don't have an HDMI cable handy, I'll be able to snag one tonight though. I'll report back once I can test it out. (It was working prior to the removal though but it's worth a shot. Wouldn't be so bad if it was the graphics card though, it's still well within warranty)
