Well... 102C temp, is it okey? - Page 6

Another thing you could do is notch the voltage down a little, not alot so that your CPU get's unstable at stock clock, but you could save your self maybe that 5C less on the temps

stay below 70C.......in bios you can turn off things like EIST,C1E, and Speedstep to keep the multiplier from changing, but........with ^THAT^ cooler i suggest you leave it on, that way the temps are going to stay lower......that cooler probably won't provide enough cooling power to keep up with the cpu always being at higher clocks/voltage

when I got my Q8300, it was running 500mhz slower than it was supposed to so I cleared the CMOS, and applied the defaults in the BIOS. that brought the speed back up to 2.5ghz, maybe you need to do the same, also, why is the voltage so high for a low speed like that? I'm running my Q8300 at 3.0 on 1.19V.. try lowering the voltage, it should lower the temps as well.. and for the sake of that SEXY cpu, don't overclock it till you learn more and buy a better cooler. please..

I would recommend you reset your BIOS settings and then do not touch them until you know what you are doing. You will need to know the safe voltage and temperature limits for your chip.
