Sony tries to protect its interests. That's a fact. Now, regardless of anything, if a hacker group got word that the PSN network is extremely vulnerable and didn't encrypt customer data, well then that just makes it open game, regardless of any other reason. Is this BECAUSE of the lawsuits? I would say.. Absolutely not.
If someone was hacking the PSN because of the lawsuits they are GRAVELY TWISTED.. This isn't just hurting Sony. This is hurting the consumers. And what about selling users credit cards?!
These are not internet white knights, these are hacking thieves that did this. This is a lesson to Sony, however these guys aren't hacking it out of spite. They are doing it for money. You must realize this.
