[apple] ipod touch 32g 3rd gen refurb $180 - Page 2

At this point youre not very educated in the ways of iPod touch-dom if your asking does it browse the web on wifi.

This one runs the current 4.3.2 OS and will likely most if not all of the next update.

At one time iphones software had more features than the ipod touch, but apple seems to be selling all they can make of iphones and the ipod touch is the software equal of the iphone.

I generally think a 25 refurb sansa is a great way to play mp3s but I don't expect them to last.

The ipod touch is new casing, screen and battery. Nothing at all like your previous refurbs. The ipod touch is also a pocket computer/gaming device with a glass screen and a huge battery. The huge battery has a longer total lifespan and you probably treat it gentler than a non glass device.

Support apples market markup? Show me a thin pocketable wifi media player made in the past year that comes close to an ipod touch at this price please? The truth is all evidence has apple as the value leader, esp if you think of the retina display and free apps from nike, netflix, instagram etc.

iPod touches also have a much better resale value. I could sell this all day on CL for the same price right now, even keeping the new mic/headphones! I bet in a year if you keep this in excellent condition, people would be happy to buy it for $120-150 so your TCO is very low.

Again the facts seem all in favor of this being a clear value leader.

Refurb Apple products like this looks new because they replace the shell with a brand new one. They just keep the internals

Yes that's built in, along with contacts, email, maps, youtube, and you can stream netflix no stutters, its amazingly responsive!

I think safari is the OVERALL best mobile webbrowser but there's more avail on the App Store.

I have a 32GB 4th gen itouch. In my opinion, it is much better than the previous generation and it is worth it to pend the extra.

I had the 2nd gen, and now the 4th gen 32GB. My used, back scratched 4th gen cost quite a bit more than $180 and I didn't get apple remote earphones. Mine still has 8 months of warranty so that's good, but for a pristine touch, new battery, new remote phones its going to cost you more than $100 premium.

Much of the depreciation is gone on this deal... you can sell it now at a profit on craigslist at least where I live.

Every single response to this thread is get the new one! Guess what, $100 is still $100.

Every single app runs on this, unless it needs the camera. Its fast, like a 3gs.

I own this (new) and got a refurbished 16gb samsung galaxy tab for $199 the other day. I recommend somebody get one of those or a android based mp3 player if you must for less, much better.

Don't understand why you didn't put up a link? Please do fer both of your suggestions or consider your post devoid of actual information.

BTW you'll look pretty damn silly running or biking with a galaxy tab with much less storage. Form factor counts.

Interesting how some OCN members tend to make up things that don't exist. But most seem to quiet down when you tell them to put up or shut up...

This is a great deal on a 32G iPod touch, and it seems to me easily the best deal on a portable gamer device, internet tablet, media player, etc. If there's something else similar in the marketplace, but near the same price or cheaper please let me know.
