Fan Speed Problem

Hey,

I'm not able to fix the fan speed of my four Enermax Appollish Vegas fans.
They are running at ~1900rpm

I'm using a 3pin PWM for each fan.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 v2 BIOS: FA

Software used: Speed Fan & Easy Tune 6

Is there a BIOS for my board including a good fan control feature?

If they're 3-pin fans, they can't be controlled via the usual PWM function through 4-pin motherboard headers.

The BIOS on your particular board should have an option where you can choose to voltage-control fans instead of PWM-control them. Look under the PC Health Status menu. I think it'll be called Smart Fan.

And after that I'm able to controll them with SpeedFan?

Oh, sorry I overlooked that part. I don't use SpeedFan, but I think you would actually need to set the BIOS Smart Fan option to Disabled. I may be mistaken, but give that a try.
