Because most of those players probably have never tried 6vs6. Most games I see have extremely poor server selection screens, which results in everyone just selecting the game at the top. However, games such as TF2 have good server selection screens, making browsing the servers easy. There are more 6vs6 servers than 16vs16.


Anywho, I don't have much to say here. Sure, catering to the majority is a good business strategy. HOWEVER; that is also where console ports come from. Where these player limits come from. By suggesting catering to the majority, you are suggesting limiting your own options, because consoles = majority, and developing for the PC is wasted money.


Besides, most people are idiots and don't know the difference between a spamfest and actually good gameplay.

Can't believe ya when there is no vids. Duke Nuken is probably just going to be one of those games that you pick up, play through, laff, and then put down and not pick up again. Much like their previous ones.

Most TF2 players dont have a computer that could handle 64 players, much like BF2 was. 64 player games are amazing.
