Dayton Audio B652's best bookshelf speakers for <$60?

Hey everyone, need a little help here. I'm looking for a pair of bookshelf speaker for under $60. I'll be using a Panasonic Technics SA-DX940 receiver, with optical in from my PC. I'll be using them about the same amount for music/movies/gaming.

What I'm planning on getting:

-$40

Other speakers I've seen:
- $50
- $50

A few months down the road I'll toss in a sub and some nicer speakers and send these to the rear for surround.

I'm pretty set on the Dayton Audio B652's, I've heard they're really good for $40 speakers. I'm just about to buy them, just want to get some opinions before I do.

I have the sony's hooked up to my computer along with a cheaper polk sub. I think they have good sound for what they are. They lack in bass quite a bit, but that is what the sub is for.

I have had them for a few weeks and I really like them. I initially bought them for my elderly uncle, but due to some problems with the receiver not being able to get any AM radio reception, I kept the speakers.

I have used them for my rear surrounds and I think they're nice. I listened to them briefly with music and they were quite nice. If you're on an extreme budget, I think they're great.

I'd definitely take the Daytons over the other two.

They will probably surpass any PC speaker in the same price range.
I would suggest a Class-D amplifierif you need an amp.

That Dayton sounds great for the price. I have two pairs.

I'll actually be using an '87 Realistic STA-2280 receiver temporarily, and in about a month the Technics SA-DX940.

I figured at $40, worst case I save for some better speakers and toss these in as surrounds
