Best CPU fan for around $30?

Thread Starter
I'm in the market for a new cpu fan (currently have a stock one) and I was wondering whats the best fan i can get for around $30 bucks. This will be going on my i5 2500k and my 1155 board.

I'm currently eyeballing this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103057

And I kind of want a fan that has one of those auto-adjusting sensors where it automatically adjusts the fan speed depending on the cpu's temperature.

Coolermaster Hyper 212+. Can typically be had for under $30 if you shop around.

the 212+ is better than the N520? they're around the same price since it's on sale.
CoolerMaster Hyper 212+. I bought one a month ago and decreased my load temps by 14 degrees C. It was for $30 at Microcenter with a $7 MIR, so $23.

I have no experience with the N520, but the 212+ is excellent for its price.

is it possible to have your cpu running TOO cool? that's why I kind of wanted an auto-adjusting cpu fan.
The N520 is a 92mm cooler. That means the heatpipes are smaller, the heatsink is smaller, and the fans are smaller.

Get the 212+, or a Xiggy 1283 variant. Very very solid budget coolers.

I would say get yourself the hyper 212+ or spend more and get a Scythe Mugen 2. The Scythe Mugen 2 is like $45 but it gets good reviews and is said to be the best cooler on its price point.
