Max memory in linx , Like i say I believe the IX chips like odds. Mite be wrong but owell up a long time.
Ripjaws from what i here are good chips. so i think qpi mite need boost. memory controller like faster cpu is faster data need to get transfers from ram to chip to qpi needs a boost. You got 4 threads Ithink with turbo u hit 21X if not the try 19X only takes a few sec . pc will error out any how and bios u go.

i agree 100% with you here.

i'm actually going to push my overclock some more by upping my qpi some more...and then messing with Vcore...I got 4.2 stable the other day but it wasn't too pretty with RAM

OP, def push that qpi to somewhere around 1.4

Failed 20 minutes in, ah I'm just gonna shoot for 3.8GHz then, I don't want my voltages to be that high.

Nope, I don't have the patience to work my way up
3.8GHz worked perfectly without any errors @ 1.32 Vcore, 1.21 VTT, 1.8 PLL, 1.6 DRAM
I'm perfectly fine with 3.8GHz
