monitor help please

i just installed my 6950 and i have two monitors i sometimes use

my main monitor which is this one look down low for specs

AND my 26" ilo lcd hdtv on the left

so for the first time i went to screen resolution on desktop and clicked extend these displays, the volume from my surround sound cut away and moved only from the speakers from the television, any help?

before today when i had my 5770 in, the surround sound played from my speakers even when i ran two monitors

1. Right click sound icon in taskbar near clock
2. Press playback devices.
3. Choose "speakers" or something instead of HDMI TV in playback menu (where it lists all devices)
