3. you need 3 monitors for eyefinity, and a video card that supports eyefinity. eyefinity is extremely stressful on GPUs, CPUs, and RAM
oh okay. well i think ill be fine if i get a 3 core and try to unlock. if not im fine with a triple core. oh is it nvidia that does 2 monitors? ill get a nvidia card for 2 monitors if it supports that

A GTX260 is much more powerful than a GTS250 - it can handle BFBC2 on HIGH with 16xAF and no MSAA @ 1080p perfectly fine. Not to mention it can hold it's own in a lot of current games and blow away games from 2009 and earlier. It's hardly for running games at what would be considered a 'low resolution' of 1366 with quality settings on 'low'.....

Triple-core processors are perfectly suitable for gaming and could offer (if found/purchased) at the right price a truly fantastic gaming experience. Remember, there are still few games that take 'true' advantage of more than two physical cores.

Take a look at that and see if CPUFSB is compatible with your mobo, if it is you'll be able to use a software to overclock your cpu. If it is compatible then I would suggest the gpu/ psu upgrade

you'll be able to go up a bit, maybe grab a heatsink too since there's room in your budget.

gtx 260 + xfx pro 450w + better heatsink + cpu oc = pretty win little system

if thats the board, its not an m-atx layout, no bolt holes near the audio connector and at the edge of the 3rd pci slot

he will need a new case

Dell usually uses proprietary components/connections in a lot of their stuff.
