10 tips to playing bc2

1 Learn the maps, eg: the geometry buildings advantage points, dont turn your nose up on looking how the geometry of the map is formed.

2 Dont shoot your gun unless your trying to kill something, trigger disiplin keeps you hidden from other players whom havnt heard u coming yet, learn not to shoot at things u know u cant hit. because the off chance you sneak up on that person instead is always a better outcome.

3 Dont neglect to use your side arm, the pistol is a very effective weapon in killing of ground units, Trust me I got ace pin twice using only pistols yesterday.

4 MAP AWARENESS, I want you to think that theres 15 other people in the server your in whom have used the concealed/well covered spot your thinking of using now, always have that idea in your head as its most likely the case, chances are if you'd camp there so would someone else. so remember your "camping" spots. you need to learn several things about that spot, be aware of where the enemy can aproach you from, or shoot at you from a distance. best to take some time when no other players are around and learn some spots, learning where an enemy can come from can come to an advantage for when your the one assaulting that spot.

5 dont rely on other players to have your back , otherwise then you've fallen into the faulse sence of security that you cant be snuck up on. Keep on your toes

6 Dont reload when your going around a corner, chances are someones advancing on your possition so pull out your pistol for safety and always reload when its safe to do so.

7 when inside a building, never have your back against the entrance.

8 dont shoot out of windows at people shooting at you and then hide your hit box becomes the wall you hide behind if they use 40m grenade or cg.

9 turn of any ingame music its distracting and irelivant.

10 PRO TIP know which side your on, when you shoot someone, listen out for his team mate to revielve their possition, yelling out they got a man down, theres your next possible target. no one yelling out then he was a lone wolf and its a good time to reload

Stop running around

Get better at finding the bad guys when they aren't standing right in front of you

Get better at finding the right key to do the right thing, while you're looking for Sprint or Crouch some level 30 is shooting you in the head.

Learn what the weapons can do. Pistols at short range are especially good, for instance. Hand Grenade's and Launchers can get you a lot of kills.

Be a gunner for a really good driver, Tank or Heli.

Keep yourself loaded up on ammo.

Learn the maps, find the best vantage points and the safest routes to navigate through the maps.

Keep playing to get improved armor.

what I had in mind was all the times I couldn't find my gun and would end up scrolling with the wheel to the point that I was throwing an ammo box at some dude who was just standing there killing me to death with his machine gun.

I didn't feel like typing that out before lunch though...

I'm not awesome at the game, but once I started really paying attention to the OBJECTIVES, my gameplay got much better. Play the objectives, don't just worry about your K/D. Spot people all the time, and STICK WITH A SQUAD.

If you aren't in a squad, you are wasting time.

Hardcore is so terribly slow & boring.

On-topic: Play the game. You will learn more about it through that way. Play your role, and play the objective.

Whoa, whoa whoa. A good BF match lasts 30 mins, and I find Bf has a much more exciting atmosphere then most shooters. I never play on those stupid 500+ ticket servers. Waste of my valuable time .
