How long will my rig last?

Thread Starter
Hi guys im just got my pc upgraded to the specs below and i have been told its top of the line right now. I was just wondering how long a computer like mine would last and maintain its place as a high end rig. I want to be able to max out games like Skyrim as well when they come out.

Any and all feedback is appreciated

No idea. BUT battlefield 3 and sykrim will max out easy.

Also, why are you using a 1080P monitor and not have a SSD on such a expense build?

you are pretty set for a good couple of years i would imagine .

LOL you can max out skyrim and any current game, but remain top? are you serious? The best hardware is outdated in 6 months no matter what. In fact there is already faster hardware out, I mean some people have 4x GTX 580's and two 30" monitors on Dual CPU Xeon systems with 48GB RAM and REVO HDD's..

Add an SSD and a better monitor, and it'll be a very powerful system for quite a few years. Of course, it won't be the best of the best, but it'll still be very powerful and, if used for gaming, will easily max I'm sure 99% of new releases for a few years
