You can still get a Physx card if you go Crossfire.

If I didn't care about the potentialness, I would get 2x Radeon HD 5850 (the Sapphire version at $140).
If not, then I would go with a Radeon HD 6950, unlock and overclock it.

I honestly don't see why you would go with a GTX 560 unless you're interested in CUDA. Physx is somewhat minor, considered how many games that utilizes it.

The raw performance of a 6970(which you eventually have it unlocked to) has more raw performance.

Edit: But of course Nvidia tends to have less buggy drivers. It's up to you, really. They are both great cards.

I would get the 560 as well, even go for the 2gb version and sli in near future for a little headroom, then physx.

So getting the GTX560ti would make perfect sense
It runs really cool, overclocks easily to GTX570 levels whilst using less power than the GTX570
So yeah I think you hit the nail in the head when you mentioned your close to getting the GTX560ti
Good choice
AMD driver support isn't that bad, they release new revisions all the time, so does Nvidia. Driver support isn't a valid argument considering both manufacturers are on the ball with driver releases.

If the OP is concerned with SLI however, than I can understand why he would lean towards the GTX560ti, 2 of those oc'd to 1000 core would be more than adequate for a couple years at least.

Actually people seem to have a lot more driver related problems with AMD than Nvidia .. Many people choose Nvidia mostly for their decent/less buggy drivers.

Im not really trying to argue whether AMD/NVIDIA are better than the other but Ive seen alot more posts in these forums about ATI/AMD driver issues... No sides taken just what ive seen.
