Each their own I suppose
Thats Intel for you. Some of the lower priced chips can overclock though,i do the bulk of my overclocking via FSB though so every component benefits and is in sync and provides better performance.Anyone who owns a Sandy Bridge, you gotta admit,if you brought a K version, would'nt you rather not have that crappy on-chip GPU?Imagine how much performance Sandy Bridge could create without the on CPU crap, then overclocked via FSB.Maybe Sandy Bridge E will address this.
I not a fanboy, but thats why i mostly buy AMD.I mean take my cheapo 630 Athlon, yeah its not an amazing chip by a long shot, and will be replaced soon, but these cheap £70 CPU's can overclock like hell, there really good fun.Although it does'nt get overclocked at the moment because of my super cheap motherboard,lol,£30 cant expect much more i suppose, was my very first build and was designed to surf the web and go on Facebook, lol.Edited by crossy82 - 5/3/11 at 3:20am
