My chip idled at 60C when running at 4GHz using the stock cooler. And given my case is very airy, and my ambient temps are around the 20's. No, just no.

I tried that @ 1.33v and p95 put my temps of 90c and climbing when I shut it down.!! eek.gif

It bothers me when people will drop a few hundred bucks on a sweet CPU, over clock the piss out of it and leave it on the el-cheapo stock coolers...show some pride in your investment and at least stick a hyper 212+ on that thing for crying out loud lol.

A clock speed doesn't tell us much without a Vcore.

I do agree though, 4.5 GHz probably isn't possible on a stock cooler. I think you could do 4 GHz though, the SB's are pretty cool.

1.202... it's in my sig tongue.gif And I loaded at 86C in Prime95 Blend within minutes before I closed it because 86C is too hot!
