Appraisal: Apple I-Phone 4 (BLACK) X2

Thread Starter
I'm trying to see what I could sell (2) very slightly used Iphone 4 16GB (at&t) Phones for. They were only purchased December 9th of 2010.

Both had Invisi-shields applied in store, and went immediately into Otter Box cases.

They were both replaced in February due to AT&T having poor service in my new location (Camp Lejeune NC)

There are absolutely no scratches, and have been used for no more than 1200 minutes talk time combined. They come with the original box, USB cord, AC Adapter, and headphones.

also there are (2) Otterbox cases. (1) Hotpink (1) All Black.

Are they locked to AT&T and/or unlockable?

$400-450 each. $400 would be a really quick sale but I wouldn't plan on getting more than $450 if it's not unlockable.

Not sure how much the otterbox would impact the price though.

They are from AT&T. I could unlock them, but most people on here would find the resources and do it with their own methods.

The reason I asked is the last time I checked which was a few months ago, unless the phone had a certain baseband it was impossible to get unlocked. Not sure if that's changed or not but sorry if I'm misinformed. You will definitely get more if you unlock the phones though. I sold my mint 16GB for $540 a week ago.

If I'm not mistaken unlocking can be done quite easily?

But yes, $400-450 will get it sold no problem. Most unlocked iPhone 4 16GB models go for that much.

Not sure if this is outdated - but this is the kind of thing I was talking about.

But not all iPhones out there are unlockable at this point and I am referring to new iPhone 4 units sporting baseband 2.10.04 and 3.10.01. There’s not even an official release date for that Ultrasn0w unlock that would make possible the use of any carrier’s SIM card with your brand new iPhone 4.
If that's irrelevant disregard it and sorry for filling the appraisal thread.

Just by doing a quick eBay search, locked iPhone 4's in good condition start around $400-430 while the cheapest unlocked listing is $530.

I would unlock them first. I mean the only people who can use them then would be AT&T customers, and I don't think majority have AT&T.

If they are running the latest firmwares, then they will not be able to unlocked. Unless of course you have used something like Pwnage tool or sn0wbreeze to preserve the basebands when updating. The dev team may have something in the works, but there is no telling when it will be released.

$450-500 shipped
I just sold an iphone 3gs 8gb for $300.
But get it unlocked first if you can, it will sell much quicker.
