Any options other than sleeving

Thread Starter
I guessing no or would have saw it already. I'm not a big fan of sleeving as it makes a really big bunch of wires. No offense as some of you guys do really great work. I just like the tight bundle of wires better. Not doing the car split tubing or spiral wrap either. I saw one setup unsleeved with all black wires. looked nice not as bulky. But I guess that involved going into PSU and changing all wires. Anyways any other suggestions?

Some people on here use para cord, super cheap and not as bulky.

MDPC-X sells larger sized sleeving for bundles of wires so that you can have it all in one sleeve, rather tha individual sleeves.
http://en.mdpc-x.com/mdpc-sleeve/sleeve-kits-+-tools/sleeve-kits/tubing-sleeve-pack.htm

That's your best bet. And, as usual, it's MDPC quality so you won't see through it, course if you're real worried you can use black electrical tape around your wires prior to sleevign to ensure no other color shows through.

got a pic of the inside of your case? How much effort / creativity are you looking for?

extra large sleeving as suggested already is a good choice

>> PVC or square/round tubing can be used to hide cabling
>> vinyl dye for getting all the cables a uniform color instead of sleeving
>> metal sleeving + chrome tape for the end leading to the connector would be a cool look
>> I'll think on it some . . .

something like [ame="http://www.amazon.com/VHT-SP941-Vinyl-Gloss-Black/dp/B000CPJLWQ"]this[/ame]

Any vinyl dye will work - just be sure you are getting a true dye and not a paint.

Also a few tips:
>> Wear gloves and clothing you don't care about. This can be messy - and WILL stain your skin for several days.
>> Plastic / tarp your workspace if you are doing it in the kitchen table - newspaper may not be enough.
>> Follow manufacturer instructions - the process is pretty simple but messy.

Thanks Bear rep for the help. I used stuff like that about 20 yrs ago when I was really into cars. Didn't really think about it for wires.

no problem, and good luck! Come back with pics or even a mini work log of your steps. Even small mods like this with a few pictures can inspire many of those nervous about a similar project to jump in and get their hands dirty (pun intended)

Have fun!
