CPI is the lastest ever thing you need to ever think with your mind.
Or..you have EXTRA-FULL-READY 200000x20000 screen-resolution.

tl;dr - stay with Deathadder / buy PureTrak Valor.
and CPI is useless, you can just set nice feeling Cpi for desktop and set it all high up in the sensitivity of the game you play.

Performances between G500 and Mionix Naos 5000? - Yes, the same - they both uses the same sensor, which is ADNS-9500.
Also, Mionix Naos 5000 have a little more customize features, thats all.

Sorry to tell ya, this older sensor is probably the best in market currectly, its performance the same as the newer Deathadder's but LoD.

TBH I wouldn't Change, the Deathadder 1800 is really wanted and there is alot people who looking for it..But now its not like this, since the newer DA's performs the same as the older [1800cpi] but LoD is lower.

Not at all, the G500 use ADNS-9500 which is laser based sensor, the Deathadder's [in general] uses IR optical based sensor.

1800dpi DA sensor > new DA sensor by far.

AFAIK and after some research and asking questions the only diffrents between the older and the newer is the LoD and is due its lens.

since i bought my g500 i wish i would have done it sooner, the shape and feel is great, cutom weight settings from a rock to a feather, the cord is like its not even there. And the software that you can use to customise everything with is incredible. There might be an equal out there, but out of all the mice i have used over the years(a lot) this is my fav by far, and besides i have too say all my logitech products have proven worth every penny. Even the g510 key board rocks!! Oh and the price will be hard to beat for the quality you get.
