I am a low sensitivity gamer, and even 5% acceleration is usable, and if even Three to Four percent doesnt always exist it doesnt bother me.

Razer Imperator owner here for about a year and no problems what-so-ever. Can lift the mouse off, not an issue stays right in the spot it should be, have M-Audio AV-40 speakers on my desk, playing dubstep, no jitter or anything, glossy side is a little.. ehhh... but i'm used to it now. Tracks on a steelseires mousepad flawlessly, if anything makes it jitter its dirt or crud that gets on my pad from eating at the desk. Lol

Tis fragile feeling though, not sure if you can give it quite the beating... xD

It's not actually a lift-off issue, but more of a put-down issue.

You're lying if you say your mouse doesn't do that.
Also, the disconnecting problem is something many many imperator users including me had.

Just get the chapest mouse you can get, and use the rest of the money for anger management classes.

Nah xD

Bought the SteelSeries Xai, and it's really nice! Just got home and didn't have time to really test it yet but on Windows desktop it feels really precise and feels comfortable, except for the right side buttons that are made for left handers annoy me, but I guess I'll get used to 'em.

I tried replicating that and I able to get it to do that, but if someone has to lift their mouse of and down that fast over and over again then they might as well stick with a gamepad. Lol. I never noticed it could do that until I watch the description on how he made it do so. If I just lift it up and reposition it and then set it back down there is very subtle movement, maybe a pixel or 3 but not enough to barely notice in a high action game.
