Pick a monitor for me from Microcenter. *Buying today*

Alright guys. I can't decide on a monitor.

this is what I need:
  • 20" to 24"
  • 1600x900 minimum resolution
  • good gaming performance
  • ~$110-160 prefered can stretch that if needed ($200 MAX)
  • HDMI input prefered

This is going to be hooked up to my laptop via HDMI and sitting directly in front of me with the laptop display turned off most of the time.

I've only owned cheapo off-brand monitors in the past so I dont think I'll be that picky so long as there isn't a crazy amount of light bleeding.
Built in speakers matter about .0001% to me.

Start the shopping.

Pics when I'm done.

I'll be going to MC around 1pm

These are what I am looking at right now:

Asus VE247H 23.6"
LG E2250VR-SN 22" LED
LG E2340V-PN 23" LED ultra-slim
LG W2353VP-PF 23"

A friend has the Asus that you linked to, and he loves it, actually is going to buy a second here soon.

Hope it helps.

Ended up going a bit more expensive. But I am glad I did so thus far.

I love your desk. I've always wanted a curved, wrap-around type dealy..

Reminds me of Megadesk from The Office

also, if I'm not mistaken I see an e-cig on the desk Good to see someone else kicked the gross habit! I love mine. Unless I'm wrong, then just ignore me lol.

Thanks. I built the desk a while at the factory I worked in.

As for E-cig. eGo-T. I didn't kick a habit though. I took one up. I used to smoke cloves back in the day, but you can't buy them any more and frankly... I like smoking. But there's no way I was going to switch to nasty-arse analog cigs. E-cig is the way to go for me.

Nice monitor, If I had more than 22 inches on the monitor spot on my corner desk, I'd totally get that. Good choice. Now update your sig

Nice choice. That is the 247 or 248H? I almost got the 247h yesterday but the bezels were just a little large looking. The 248H I saw today before I bought my Acers actually had smaller bezels. they didnt have threee in stock though. Maybe in a week they said. I may return these Acers for the 248H's but so far these Acers look pretty nice. I just like the 2ms response time from the Asus much more than these with 5ms.
