AMD Server Resurrection (56k Warning) (Updated)

Ok, so probably about a year ago I picked up a couple of old servers from work and have modded the case into something a bit nicer to look at. Most of the work on this happened over Christmas, but I just never got around to uploading all of the pics and making a thread.

I really think I should actually get the whole build uploaded so I'm going to endeavour to at least get the buildlog started today and plan the completion of the build.

System Link

The plan:

White external finish with orange stripes, black internals and green lighting

The case so far:

Here's the paint design for the top of the case:

Some different views of the initial case:

These fans are the noisiest thing I have ever heard, I guess servers were made for locking away far from ears, but they had to go!

The main hardware to be used; an old Athlon 3500+ on an old gigabyte mobo with an intel mounting bracket for a d-tec fuzion waterblock:

And here is where I have mounted an old Black Ice GT Stealth Rad into the side of the case (I'll try and explain the airflow later on) with a dry fit of components:

The front had a gap in it, so I made a USB port and keyswitch to be used on lighting to go in there:

Lighting to be used in the case:

Paint stripped off before spraying:

Ok the paint job...

Internals painted black:

Externals painted white:

Internal 5 1/4" drivebay Black:

Masking taped in prep for stripes (I changed the design slightly):

And the first and second coats of the orange paint:

After the paint has dried:

With some of the components in it:

And the liquid cooling added:

And a nice lighting shot:

Looks great! The hard work and effort put into the painting is amazing, the finish is very nice, the pattern also works well too.
The fitting of all the liquid cooling parts is very clever too, looks almost professional.
Is there anymore to come? What about a window on the reverse side?
