Connecting speakers to amp question.

Thread Starter
I have a pair of creative t20w and they suck. I have a pair of z680's in my closet but they have no amp. So I took 2 z680 speakers and I wired one z680 speaker to the left speaker of the t20w and one z680 speaker to the right speaker of the t20w. I have a 180watt sub and i connected that to the left speaker of the t20w. I made a diagram. So my question is, if i disconnect the T20w speakers from the T20w amp and just connect the z680 speakers to the t20w if i will get more power to sub woofer. Right now i have 5 speakers connected. So if i take 2 of them off will my sub get more power. Oh i and i know that i am only getting bass from my left speaker but its better then having just these t20w's

You're going to blow up your T20W's amp. Stop what you're doing and remove the excess speakers.

Connecting speakers in the right configuration is not as easy as connecting dots on a paper.
