Would it be worth to upgrade from a i5 750 to a i5-2500K?

All I would need is the CPU and mobo. Pretty much everything stays the same. I have to the cash to do it to. Though I'm thinking in back of my mind it might not be really worth it. What's any of your take on this?

What do you do with your computer?

If all you do is game on it, then you don't need any more power.

Well .. remeber that SandyBridge is a Evolution - not a Revoltion - Of course its faster on many things and such - but I don't really see the point of Upgrading if you only want to upgrade because of the "new chipset" ..

If you really use you computer, and all its abilities, and money isnt your problem, then I would say yes - else no

If it makes you happy then do it i say. The rest of your rig looks strong, Some say only if it's needed but in my opinion if it makes you happy then that's all that matters
