Recommend me a reliable ADSL modem/router

Thread Starter
Hi guys, my Linksys WAG120N has finally driven me to insanity and I am looking for a reliable router modem. Please note that I want the router and modem in one not separate.

I really do not know where to start looking I want a router that has support for wireless N and one that doesn't drop connection, I am willing to spend maybe £80-100.

Your help is much appreciated.

You should first contact your ISP or at least search through their website to find out what DSL protocols are required... Without knowing what protocols are required, I don't believe anybody can make really accurate recommendations.

TBH, I don't think there is really any protocols I need to go by, the only real thing is Annex A.

WAG320N,

make sure there's no problem with your internet connection first.

What ISP do you have?

allot of providers equipment likes broadcom chipsets for example netgear DGN2200.

Like my ISP line uses BT equipment and works best with Texas Instrument based routers.

Could you recommend me any good Texas Instrument based routers, I also happen to be on BT.

Thanks

After looking into it the DGN2200 works well

they actually use an improved version of the broadcom BCM6348 chip which i'm using right now on my DG384GT

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/netge...200pluswna3100)

i highly recommend it.

though if you don't like the netgear the ASUS DSL-N11 is also fine enough
