No power issues

Thread Starter
So after installing all my components, I tried to turn it on and.... nothing.

I made sure everything was plugged in properly, (both motherboard power and cpu power).

The wierd thing is, if I turn off the psu, then pull the cord out of it, then put it back in, i hear a click, then the lights on keyboard flash. occasionaly, the motherboards first phase LED lights up, then quickly goes away.

what should i do??

Does your MOBO have stands to keep it from grounding out?

Are the Stand-Offs installed in the case, and also in their correct positions?

Is it possible that there's one too many, or one in the wrong place?

Try the components on a test bench and see if it still grounds out? It sounds like it's grounding out from what you described in the OP.
