So please add some universals so we can put together a Case Advice post to head up a new thread. Then we can link to it in our sigs.

Aaawww. You dissed my wovewy witto Beta Evo.

Ugly is as ugly does. Great cooling with fans in all the G-spots, and easy to mod. She does a beautiful job.

I notice you have a HD5970BE. This is a long card, 12.2'' IIRC.
And I remember this card comes in 2 versions, AMD reference cooling and the XFX bi-directional cooling.
The reference cooling is the traditional 'front fan intake + rear exhaust' while the XFX's is a 'central fan intake + rear and front exhaust'.
If your card is the latter version, space as well as thermal consideration should be taken.

Thermal consideration: because this type of card exhausts 50% of its hot air into the case via the card's front, management of this heat dump should be taken not lightly.

2 provisions ought to be made when chosing a case:-
1) plan a clear distinct and direct path for fresh air supply to the central located intake fan

2) plan a clear distinct and direct path for the internally dumped hot air to escape from the card's front to outside of case.
-This path must not go through the CPU heatsink-fan.
-This path must not allow the hot air being sucked back by the card's fan.
-Avoid pushing back the hot air into the card by placing a strong fan directly to the front.

('Clear distinct' means: un-interuppted by other airflow. 'Direct' means: as short as possible the route is.)

As the card is installed with its intake fan facing the bottom of case, the typical solution for (1) and (2) is to have a bottom-side intake case fan(s) and top exhaust case fan(s).

Many cases can do the job but as I am familiar with HAF 932, I will use it to demonstrate. (The pic shows a HD6990 for demo only).
An alternative to supply fresh air to the card is to use a case bottom intake fan.

Lmao
I liked the chassis. Just not the front panel. It reminded me of those old 1990s cases (Except black)

Excellent airplan, IMO. Well thought out. It shows what a top exhaust fan(s) can do to add to a cooling system, as well as a rear exhaust fan. And with a low-cfm rear fan, you can leave the grill in place. +rep

The only concern I have is getting enough air to the face of the cpu cooler. The side panel intake fan will provide lots of air to the gpu cooling system, but the opening left between the back of the gpu card and the front intake of the cpu heatsink is not large. It looks almost like it needs a separate intake system. How do you facilitate cpu cooler intake?

How come antec cases suck? I'm picking up the antec 600 and it looks pretty cool and has 4 fans (1 200mm, 3 120mm's)? Aren't those 4 fans enough to move some air around?
