Qwest modems

Thread Starter
Well, my Qwest modem finally gave up its ghost again (probably the 10th one in 5 years). As it stands, I have a Motorola 3347 from Qwest. When I called, the phone tech told me that these modems have a long history of problems (big surprise there). My setup consists of 3 wireless devices and 1 ethernet connected device.

Does anyone have an opinion on what Qwest modem I should try? Are any of these: http://www.qwest.com/internethelp/modems-more.html good options?

They're all free and replaceable under my contract, so I'd rather not buy one myself.

Beware. Many of those modems are old and will not support ADSL connections over 1.5Mbps.

I would have just asked the tech who told you those Motorola modems were junk for his opinion.
