Could it possibly be time for a good dusting in the pc case? Not sure how often you do it. Just thought i throw that out there also. Push pins still holding well in the stock cooler?

If that's the case then your only option is an aftermarket CPU.

A. The stock HSF isn't great, especially when your ambients are at 35c

B. The stock thermal paste isn't great, try some cheese

C. You probably won't get away with a cheap aftermarket HSF either. You'll need some good fans to shift a lot of air.

Also, pictures of your "custom" case so we can see if it's actually any good for airflow.

ya i do dusting time to time....
and about push pin---i cant stop the inevitable...those r going to get loose no matter what we do...but for the time being its holding on gud.....

try and pick up a used prolimatech megahalems or supermega with 2 fans push/pull
