I swap between the palm and claw grip (occasionally fingertip too) and absolutely love my g500. The only complaint I have about it is that the side doesn't flow back out under my pinkey, so when relaxed my finger sits/drags on my desk but doesn't when I'm gaming. Once I get in my new mousepad
, even that won't bother me at all.
The sensor being moved forward in the mouse is actually something I really, really like. It's got just enough LEDs that you notice it, especially if you set the 3rd setting (all 3 lights on) to be the one you spend most of your time on.
Also, the g500 is on sale atm: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-318-_-Product
One thing I should mention though is if you're one of the people that can hear a television whining from a few feet away, the g500 might not be for you, there is a very quiet squeal from the mouse, but I have to lift the mouse and put my ear inches away from the sensor to hear it. It's completely inaudible from more than 6 inches away though, less when the mouse is set down.Edited by -Apocalypse- - 5/1/11 at 7:37pm
