I think he is referring to the fact that AMD could pass Intel in gaming performance with some new architecture.

EDIT: beaten to the punch.

When fusion teams up with Bulldozer than we will see AMD perform better than Intel.
That shows up in certain benchmarks and hurts AMD for it at times, otherwise it's irrelevant in other benchmarks and in discernable real life usage (really, who would notice a difference in their browser or MS word between an AMD Thuban and Core i Intel?).

At the $200 price point for CPU, AMD has nothing that can compete with Intel, but at the $100 point, I would argue that AMD is still the value king.

Are most of those Windows programs hardcore CPU utilizers?
Seriously you expect a web browser to use all that CPU power at your fingertips!?

Yeah, I should have said "will not support." At the time the statement was made, that is what I was told. Again, I am a server guy, not a desktop guy.

Well, the hype isn't coming from me. It will be a great product, it will definitely have a big impact on the market. But I don't hype things, BD will live up to everything that we have said about the product.

Oh! You’re a server guy. Know wonder you have no understanding of Deck Tops!
All of this is like a big iron trap - by now, it is too late to con your way out?
So far you have not said anything useful other than, it will not work in AM3 motherboard?
You may pacify server clients’ with BDS but we are desk top people and the only way to redeem yourself is to open the door and let the light shine!

Damn you and your ambiguity . This next month is going to be a torturous wait.

If the pressure that JF -AMD gets from people to reveal what he knows about Bulldozer could be measured ....how high would the reading be? *looks at pressure gauge *

For sure it would be greater than 29.92 Inches Mercury. Given that he's still alive I'd assume no more than 300 Inches Mercury (~10 Atmospheres).

Well ICAO standard atmosphere at sea level is 29.92 inHG... and I think 10 inches would be about FL250? That's just not cool without a pressurized cabin. So I'm assuming you're either a Corporate or Commercial pilot.

PS: I'm not a pilot myself, took about 40 hours of ground school but just didn't have the time or money to continue.
