Vertex 3 boot time - is this normal?

Thread Starter
Just built my pc yesterday. Using BootRacer it's showing my boot times as:
to logon - 14secs
to desktop - 70 secs
User logon waiting time - 3 secs

Is this normal for Vertex 3? My system info is below.

Thx

You will need to elaborate a lot more. It could be literally anything at this point. Drivers, bad windows installation (did you do it in AHCI mode?), hardware/other settings.. You have to isolate your issue.

Sorry, I am using AHCI. I've attached the SSD to the Sata III Intel connector on the motherboard. All drivers I have are up to date. Windows installation went fine

Im not sure how to isolate the problem. If it should be twice as fast then there must be something up....

This is determined by how long your BIOS takes to post. Seeing as how you have a Gigabyte board, it's going to be a while.

I've only updated all my drivers and installed gigabyte/intel software.

So do you think this is a normal boot time for my motherboard?

One other thing, it seems to hang the longest when the logo comes up, and then after I logon it hangs for a few seconds then the screen goes black for a few seconds with my pointer in the middle of the scren, and then the desktop comes up.
