If I understand correctly, you state that it takes 14 seconds to get to the windows logon screen and after you type in your username it takes 56 seconds to display your taskbar, desktop icons, etc.?

Yes. Well around 20 secs to login and then another 50 to desktop. Total time according to BootRacer is 1 min. 10 secs. I also have the 240 gb version.

Appears to be some program or service taking an abnormally long time to start up. Run 'msconfig' and disable everything in your startup tab. Enable the necessary stuff one at a time until you find the culprit.
Another thing to try is connecting the drive to another SATA3 port, or even trying a new sata cable.

Thanks, I've tried turning everything off in msconfig but that didn't help, but I will check the sata ports and cables now...

Yeah, something is bad off. You have something hanging up while trying to load after logon. You can find programs that will log every thing that is loading and how long it took or timed out. May want to google a few and try it out, be easier than disabling a bunch of stuff to try to figure it out.

Here is my results with only 2x Caviar Blacks in raid 0. On a very old install with a ton of stuff loading up on startup:

Mine takes quite a while just for the POST stuff, mainly initializing my raid array. I counted from power on to raid array ready and it was over 20 seconds. After that, windows loads in less than 20. Yours is taking ~55, which is way too long to be normal.
