tl;dr

If it hasn't been said, definitely try out Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (max it out, your computer will be dying on the inside in the heavily populated areas.) Also try Lost Planet 2 on Dx11 with everything on high.

I had a post on pg 5, showing my fps, maxed out, everything, with ss of sets, and ss of a screenshot in game, but... all maxed ranged from 7-8 fps to a max of 19/20 if I was lucky. First run was on 2 screens accidentally (forgot I left tv connected), then went to 1, only gained 2-3fps total. lol.

Yes, True, But hey, I wanted to see if I could bring my rig to it's knee's, I consider myself accomplished there!

Tru Tru, I'm about to test it with dx9.. see if I gain 20fps to play it somewhat stable.

True, for some games, but hey, I've got room to expand on this mobo in 2012, when I get my 6x lcd rig, and crossfire/sli whichever the most recent vid cards are.

It's not that powerful anymore.

- Metro 2033 (over 1 year old, but still)
- Homefront
- Crysis 2
- Any STALKER game (especially Call of Pripyat)
- And many more.

Max these out and you'll see just how much your GPU isn't up to the task anymore.
OP (me) was playing fallout nv, and it's expansion (that casino, weird expansion, glitchy,). Also had team fortress 2 (hilarious game), Sins of a solar empire (oddly, when u fill a 100 planent galaxy, with 1000's of ships, and trade ships to 10,000 easily... it starts to lag a bit.. with max sets, max aa, all...).

Minesweeper? Nah that's for my android samsung vibrance, lol... So is windows 7 on it, and a few other apps. (Not the windows phone interface, actual windows 7!).

I also have been playing through most of my games finally (after a year of having this rig, almost), and needed to really test it. Cause the first game *cough* that I played on this rig *cough* was halo pc *cough*. That was retardedly smooth... I could pick off flies at the end of the map if the projectile "lifespan" would reach it... lol...

Man, to test dx9.. is sad, but worth it. Can't wait to see if gain or loss..

metro
I'm not getting the hate for Metro either. I thought it was an awesome game, and the only worthy graphical competitor to Crysis to boot. I loved the atmosphere and the plot, it ran stable for me, looked beautiful, and provided me with weeks of fun (I'm sure it would have been less if I wasn't a college student with exams to study for). All the enemies were legit and none were goofy/unfit for the game world. I give it 5 stars. I'd recommended it to test your rig but you already have, so I just wanted to come in and defend one of my favorite games.
