Internet issue

Thread Starter
I'm having internet problems on my desktop (sig rig)

Due to some screw ups I have a Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast ethernet card

The issue is strange, Steam works and can get steam friends and launch a multiplayer game and connect to a server. Browers and msn don't work for some reason though.

MSN Claims it's my DNS and key ports which I've tried whatever I saw on google to fix, but nothing is working.

What could be the issue?

What do you want me to show you?

Thanks

You can try using another dns if that doesn't work try changing the port number that particular program is using.

For some reason my DNS was configured to a certain address, changed that to figure it out automatically.

Works now

Thanks all
