I really don't think that you can change it. Maybe tell them to order more stuff for days like black friday. Only day I ever go to bestbuy and they are always out of what I went in for.

The best thing you can do is to put up a triple monitor setup to show off your hardware with the latest games , surprise your consumer that this setup would cost less than 4 digits.If you can't get them to invest in a rig , at least break the stereotype. Its true that some geeksquad members shouldn't even be geeksquad members due to their lack of computer knowledge, but most that I've met are quite knowledgeable.

I have no complaints about best buy prices in terms of their products they sell(Their computer repairs and data recovery/backup services are a major ripoff), their ONLINE prices match a lot of prices on other online websites and bestbuy is great with their "Order online and go pick it up at the store" feature_ You get the benefits of cheaper online prices plus store pickup and you don't gotta deal with shipping.

yes you got a point but thats ordering not going into the store and having to deal with people that dont learn anything that they do for a job. and the prices are fair cause they know that the people that look online know what they need and know they can get it cheaper on other sites if they didnt keep it competitive.

Easy thing to do, talk to your staff, find the keen gamers on each platform (xbox, PC, PS3) and give them new badges that proclaim this, and get all your staff to point people to the right knowledgeable person.

And don't push for too many changes, corporate management is very resistant to change, especially when it comes from lower down the scale. Take it slow, make minor changes and give them time to show they work and help.
